A Solo Healing Trip to Shengsi🌊 Sunset, Sea Breeze, and Infinite Beauty
Just got back from Shengsi, this healing island far from the hustle and bustle is really perfect for being alone! Watch the most beautiful sunset, feel the most romantic sea breeze, every shot looks like a masterpiece, fall asleep to the sound of waves on the hotel balcony... If you also want a quiet and healing vacation, keep this 3-day 2-night solo travel guide handy!
🚏 Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at Shengsi Main Island → Stroll on Jihu Beach → Sunset at Fishing Harbor
📍Jihu Beach (Jihu Village, Shengsi County): A golden beach perfect for zoning out, watching the waves rise and fall is super relaxing
Tips: Avoid noon, the light is gentlest at dusk
Day 2: Sunrise at Liujingtan → Cycling on Mountain-Sea Highway → Watch the sea from the hotel
📍Liujingtan (Wulong Township, Shengsi County): Watch a 270° unobstructed East China Sea sunrise, remember to check the sunrise time in advance
📍Mountain-Sea Highway: Recommended to rent an electric bike (30 RMB/hour), the sea views along the way are stunning
Tips: Bring a tripod for selfies, solo travel can still produce great shots
Day 3: Seafood Market → Check in at Colorful Fishing Village → Return
📍Tian'ao Village: A blue and white artistic fishing village with many Instagram-worthy photo spots
Tips: For seafood, go to the seafood market in Caiyuan Town (freshest in the morning market)
🏠 Accommodation Guide
Highly recommend the homestays near Huicheng, the rooms at [Xihui Cliff Hotel] face the sea directly, right on the cliff. The hotel has a restaurant🍴, café, and KTV all available. The pure white exterior walls paired with exquisite greenery make it easy to get great shots without going out. The 2.4m big bed lets you roll around freely, falling asleep to the sound of waves at night is pure happiness!
📸 Photo Tips
1. Wear light colors for seaside photos, the light is best at sunset
2. If selfies are inconvenient, remember to bring a portable tripod
3. Fishing boats, lighthouses, and colorful houses are excellent photo spots
This little island is perfect for zoning out, watching the tides rise and fall every day, time seems to slow down... Already planning the next trip!
