🦐 Yi Jia Seafood Sdn. Bhd. – A Seafood Feast Worth Going Back For

I visited the Bukit Indah branch of Yi Jia Seafood in Johor Bahru with a big group, and it was such a fun and satisfying experience. The portions were generous, the atmosphere lively, and the flavors really hit the mark on many dishes.

The Golden Egg Yolk crab was a star—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor that clung perfectly to the crab meat. The sweet-sour chili fish (steamed soon hock) was tender and refreshing, with just the right balance of zest and sweetness. We also enjoyed the crab-meat tofu, salt-and-pepper shrimp, mantis prawn, and fried pork ribs—all cooked with great wok hei and freshness.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure our group was comfortable and had everything we needed. The spacious seating and option to dine in cooler areas made the whole meal even better.

For the price, Yi Jia offers great value for big groups and families looking to dig into classic Malaysian-style seafood. I’d definitely go back for that salted egg crab and the flavorful fried ribs. If you’re craving hearty, tasty seafood in a bustling, casual setting, Yi Jia Seafood is a solid choice.
