Dameisha Art Village: A Tibetan-Style Tea House Exploration

Inside Dameisha Art Village, there is a unique tea house that stands out with its Tibetan Buddhist style, from its exterior to its interior decor.

The exterior of the tea house features a prayer wheel, a distinctive religious symbol of Tibet. Upon entering, you’ll find a small courtyard. Walking through the stone steps of the courtyard leads you into the tea room, where you’ll see various Tibetan-style decorations and Tibetan tea leaves available for sale.

Beyond being a place to enjoy tea, the tea house also offers unique experiences such as themed accommodations, Tibetan Buddhist studies, and workshops on Tibetan print coloring art. As for the tea, reviews on Dianping highlight the Eight Treasures Tea and the Butter American Coffee as standout options 😮. However, the prices are quite steep, with a pot of tea costing 118 RMB and the Butter American Coffee priced at 58 RMB, which is higher than other common cafes, including those offering hand-brewed coffee 🤔.

Having had enough coffee at two other cafes earlier today, I’ll save my appetite for tomorrow’s challenge.
