Fenghuang Mountain 🐦‍🔥

We visited Fenghuang Mountain on a clear, cool morning, and the moment we stepped into the forested path, it felt like the mountain had gently pulled us into stillness 🌲🌤️ As we climbed higher, the city slowly faded behind us, replaced by birdsong and the sound of wind moving through the trees.

Incense drifted lightly in the air, and a few visitors stood quietly in front of the altar, surrounded by centuries of stillness and prayer 🕯️🏞️Further up, we paused at the lookout and saw the bay glimmering in the distance. It wasn’t a difficult hike but it left us feeling lighter, quieter, and connected to something timeless. A peaceful retreat tucked just above the city 🌿✨
