Matsumoto, an interesting small town 🌿💚

Getting there 🚅
Take the Shinkansen from Ueno Station to Nagano, then transfer to the train and get off at Matsumoto Station. From there, you can walk around or take a bus that circles the city.

Tourist attractions 🏯
Matsumoto Castle is a free tour, but you can't go inside. It's like a park, with beautiful views and fresh air. There are also museums nearby to explore.

Hotel 🏨
I personally stayed at the Matsumoto Marunouchi Hotel. The room was very spacious, both the bedroom and bathroom. I could easily fit two large suitcases. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathtub was large and well-equipped. The staff were also very helpful. I'll definitely be back. 🥰

Restaurants and Food 🍣🍛🥢
We wandered around randomly, looking at reviews on Google Maps. We found Okinawa Ramen, which had delicious soup and incredibly tender pork that melted in your mouth. Most of the restaurants here tend to open on a rotating schedule, from morning to noon and from evening to night. Some require reservations. Another place I went to was their sushi and sashimi. I couldn't read the name of the restaurant in Japanese, but it was a hidden gem. It was always packed with people. It was incredibly delicious! 🤩🫠 The fish was incredibly fresh, and the price was incredibly good. I loved it! I'll definitely be back next time! 😍
