Amid the skyscraper forest of Shenzhen, this time I chose to stay at the Yun Jing of the Rosewood Hotel, Pengrui, unexpectedly gaining a cloud-level vacation experience✨
This luxury hotel in Nanshan District is located in the landmark building Shenzhen Bay No.1. The deluxe sea view twin room is surprisingly spacious. Although I didn’t get to experience the 270-degree popular room type, the view of Shenzhen Bay from the floor-to-ceiling window was already stunning. Waking up to blue skies and clear seas in the morning, and enjoying the dazzling city light show at night while lying in the bathtub is just amazing~
🌟 Location advantages:
- Talent Park is right downstairs, very convenient for morning runs or walks
- A 10-minute walk to MixC, a paradise for shopping lovers
- Only a 15-minute drive to Shenzhen Bay Port, super convenient for cross-border travel
💎 Service highlights:
1. 24-hour butler service is very thoughtful; they even helped my friend buy medicine for allergies
2. The sky lobby bar on the 71st floor has an incredible view; be sure to reserve a window seat in advance for afternoon tea
3. The in-room mini bar is free for the first round and even includes local craft beer
📸 Photo spots:
• The infinity pool on the 34th floor (recommended to visit at dusk to capture the sunset reflecting on the skyscrapers)
• Silhouette photos holding a glass of champagne in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room
• The lobby’s spiral staircase; wearing a well-tailored little dress makes for great photos
🍽️ Nearby food:
• The Japanese restaurant KOKONI inside the hotel is impressive
• The long-established Lai Yuen Restaurant within walking distance (don’t forget to order the iced roasted triple-layer pork)
• For late-night snacks, head to the nearby Chaoshan beef hotpot street
💡 Check-in tips:
• Weekend occupancy is high, so it’s better to visit on weekdays
• Make sure to check if the sea view room is a full sea view or a side sea view
• Bring swimwear! The high-altitude pool is definitely a must-visit
• Reserve restaurants in advance, especially on weekends as they often get fully booked
In this fast-paced city of Shenzhen, staying once in a high-altitude hotel can really change your mood. Watching the endless traffic below and the distant sea, you suddenly understand what it means to "watch the world from the clouds"~
