One popular service of the guesthouse is a free 20-minute professional photography session for guests, guided by a photographer to take pictures at the best spots in the guesthouse. I like it. It takes about an hour to drive from downtown Shenzhen. During all weekends and public holidays from May Day to National Day, Dapeng Peninsula enforces temporary traffic control, so advance reservation is required for self-driving. Sapphire Beach is about a 5-minute walk from the guesthouse. Nearby attractions include Dapeng Fortress, Jiaochangwei, and Lu Zui Villa, the filming location of Stephen Chow’s movie "The Mermaid."
