[Shenzhen Family-Friendly Hotel Recommendation] I just went on a family trip to Shenzhen with my kids and stayed at this international brand five-star hotel, the InterContinental Shenzhen OCT Hotel, which ranked third on Trip.com's list of family-friendly hotels in Shenzhen!

I highly recommend everyone to go there. The hotel has an artificial beach, a large swimming pool, a pirate ship, indoor and outdoor playgrounds for children, a carousel, and a miniature train!

🐚 Ocean-Themed Room: Whimsical Utopia Family Suite

This time we stayed in the ocean-themed family suite. The kids were immediately drawn to the crab-shaped tent bed upon entering! The room also featured a star-shaped sofa, a giant bathtub, and a playhouse with a huge white rabbit plush toy! So sweet!

🏴☠️ Family Activities: Pirate Ship Themed Pool + Artificial Beach + Wading Pool

The hotel facilities are amazing, but the most eye-catching is definitely the pirate ship themed pool. It's big enough to play hide-and-seek on, and there's an artificial beach next to it for kids to build sandcastles and play in the water. The wading pool is designed to be both safe and fun!

🎠 Indoor and Outdoor Children's Playgrounds: So Exciting, There's Even a Carousel!

The indoor Playhouse features a ball pit, rocking boards, a reading corner, a rope net area, and a building block area. Outdoors, there's a large climbing area, a trampoline, and most impressively, a carousel for unlimited play! There are so many facilities and so much fun! A small train circles the hotel grounds, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery.

🍳 Breakfast Buffet: Superb Choices

The breakfast buffet offers a huge variety of choices, including several fresh juices, even dragon fruit juice! Besides Chinese congee, noodles, and rice noodles, and Western bread and sausages, there are also Southeast Asian breakfast options, sushi, and Mexican wraps! So plentiful!

🚘 Convenient Transportation

The hotel is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, just a 15-minute taxi ride from Shenzhen Bay, making it very convenient. There are also many tourist attractions nearby; Window of the World and the opposite Yitian Plaza are just a 5-minute drive away.
