Then you can't miss this! Shenpugou, near Chengdu, is a very easy hiking route, perfect for beginners. You can easily complete it in a day and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery!

> **🌳 Forest Oxygen Bar:**
Almost the entire route goes through the forest, with lush vegetation and fresh air, just like a natural oxygen bar. The first part has a slight climb, but the rest is relatively flat, walking along the ridge with a wide-open view.

> **🎍 Picking Wild Vegetables:**
You can now pick wild vegetables such as bamboo shoots, houttuynia cordata, and bracken on the mountain. If you like wild flavors, try picking them yourself!

> **🕊️ Dove Tree Flowers:**
Here you can see the nationally protected plant - Davidia involucrata, also known as the "dove tree" or “handkerchief tree”. Now is the blooming season, and it's definitely worth seeing!

> **🌸 Azaleas:**
The azaleas all over the mountains are also in bloom, with rich colors and beautiful scenery. The flowering season can last until mid-May, and the section from Gengyun Pavilion to Tingxue Pavilion is a great place for flower viewing.

> **🥾 Hiking Route:**
Shenpugou (Back Mountain Gate) → Jiangjunping → Deyue Pavilion → Gengyun Pavilion → Tingxue Pavilion → Banxian Pavilion → Ruyi Pavilion → Shenpugou (Back Mountain Gate). The whole journey is over 6 km and takes about 5-6 hours at a relaxed pace, suitable for most people.

> **⚠️ Precautions:**
* There are no shops on the mountain, so please bring your own food and water, and take your trash with you to protect the environment.

* Summer is coming, so be sure to protect yourself from the sun, wear a hat, and apply mosquito repellent.

* It is recommended to bring trekking poles and wear non-slip sneakers.

* The weather on the mountain changes quickly, so you can bring a light jacket.
