Came to Shijiazhuang on a business trip and stayed at the Hilton Hotel, the tallest building in Shijiazhuang. Overall impression: 85-90 points, suitable for business trips and also for families. Location: Excellent, with the Hebei Provincial Museum just across the road, the most luxurious Xiantianxia shopping mall in the area, the convention and exhibition center next door, the Hebei Sports Center with excellent lighting effects, and many must-eat restaurants.
Price: I see everyone saying it is the cheapest Hilton, which is basically true! During the summer, you can stay at a hotel starting at over 600!
Scenery: As the tallest building, located on floors 29-53, you can overlook the city of Shijiazhuang. The lobby on the 31st floor has a whole circle of floor-to-ceiling windows, which is very shocking. The fitness and swimming pool on the 29th floor and the breakfast restaurant on the 30th floor also have nice views.
Room: I stayed in a deluxe king-size room. Since it is quite large, all rooms are corner rooms, so please be careful if you mind. The bedding is very comfortable, which is very suitable for people like me who have difficulty sleeping. There is plenty of space to sit and put things in the room, so it would be suitable if you bring Xi to live with you. Of course, because it was renovated in 2013, the room's hard and soft furnishings are just average, and there are no windows that can be opened (after all, many high-rise hotels still have small windows that can be opened upon request). For someone like me who has an obsessive-compulsive need for fresh air, I don't like it, and the corridors and rooms still have a bit of a closed space smell. In the room and in the gym
The blueair purifier slightly alleviated my desire for windows. Breakfast: The area is large and there are enough seats at different times. I love the noodle stalls and porridge stalls. They have the famous Anhui flat noodles and porridge with rich toppings. The juice and fruit are of good quality. The bread stall is okay, and the coffee packaged in the beautiful Hilton blue paper cups tastes good. Of course, if there is a little more cooking, it will be perfect. Fitness and swimming: This year I fell in love with weightlifting and swimming, so I also care about these two facilities of the hotel. Hilton's gym and swimming pool are both above average in size, which is pretty good among non-outsourced gyms. There aren't a lot of equipment, but they're enough. The treadmill has a view of the city and the elliptical has a view of the pool, both are great. The swimming pool is spacious and has plenty of rest areas. I didn't try it, so I don't know what the water temperature and depth are like. Both places are open 24 hours a day, with staff on duty from 6:00 to 22:00, and self-service at other times by swiping your room card.
