📍Shijiazhuang Attractions|Easily Conquer Little Baodu Village‼️Includes Practical Family Travel Tips

Baodu Village is not a village, but the name of a mountain! Located in Luquan District, Shijiazhuang, it combines natural scenery and cultural sites, making it perfect for bringing kids to play!

🎫 Ticket Information

On-site adult tickets are 65 RMB, children 30 RMB (includes South Heavenly Gate, excludes cable car). It’s recommended to buy tickets online in advance, as there are often discounts!

🚇 Transportation

Super convenient! Take Metro Line 1 to Xiwang Station, exit to the bus stop, and take a bus directly to the scenic area entrance with no transfers needed—very hassle-free.

⛰️ Hiking Guide

Cable car one-way is 40 RMB per person, free for children under 120cm. The cable car is 1800 meters long, about 7 minutes, with amazing views! If you choose to hike, Baodu Village has two peaks. The South Heavenly Gate is on the second peak, so you need to go up the mountain → down → then up again. The second peak is a bit steep, but kids can still manage it by walking slowly.

🏞️ Must-See Attractions

✅ Wanfo Cave: Highly recommended! There are over ten thousand Buddha statues inside, all vividly shaped. It’s super cool inside during summer~

✅ Jinque Palace: A place to introduce kids to Taoist culture, featuring the God of Wealth, the Eight Immortals, and more.

✅ Qianlong Wall: Features 999 dragon carvings, with nine main dragons on the front that look especially majestic. The back has the large characters “Baodu Blessed Land.”

✅ Five Hundred Arhats Hall: The nation’s first underground stone-carved Arhat group on a mountaintop, very unique!

📌 Helpful Tips

✅ Free access hours: 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM the next day, but entering South Heavenly Gate during this time requires a separate ticket.

✅ It’s recommended to bring hiking poles and wear comfortable sports shoes. Don’t rush going downhill to avoid calf soreness.

✅ Prepare for sun protection! Hats, sun-protective clothing, and sunscreen are essential. Bring plenty of drinking water.

✅ After climbing steep slopes, don’t sit down immediately. Walk slowly for a few minutes to catch your breath more smoothly~
