Last time I spent two days in Osaka, it was completely relaxing and comfortable. The itinerary wasn’t rushed, but every place was very satisfying—whether it was shopping, food, or soaking in hot springs, the whole trip was very cozy. Let me share my itinerary!
📅 Day 1|Leisurely City Tour & Fine Dining
💼 Accommodation | The St. Regis Osaka
This hotel is in the heart of Osaka city, with super spacious rooms. After check-in, I rested a bit at the hotel, enjoying a cup of coffee while looking at the city view—it already felt very healing.
🛍️ Afternoon|Shinsaibashi & Midosuji Shopping
I didn’t plan to buy much, but once I got to Midosuji, I couldn’t resist checking out the new collections at LV and CHANEL. Then I went to Daimaru Department Store to browse Japanese brands, and of course, I ended up carrying several shopping bags. There are also some nice cafés near Shinsaibashi, where I sat down for a coffee break—it felt super relaxing.
🍣 Dinner|Michelin Sushi | Sushi Nakamoto
I booked this small sushi place with only a few bar seats. The environment was quiet and comfortable, and the chef introduced the fresh ingredients of the day. The tuna belly literally melted in my mouth, the sea urchin was incredibly sweet, and every piece was very exquisite.
🍸 Night|Umeda Rooftop Bar
After dinner, with no special plans, I went to the rooftop bar at Grand Front Osaka in Umeda. I enjoyed the entire Osaka night view, had a cocktail, and the breeze was really pleasant~
📅 Day 2|Hot Springs Relaxation & Elegant Afternoon Tea
🌿 Morning|Half-day Trip to Arima Onsen
I had heard that the best hot springs near Osaka are in Arima, so I finally tried it this time. The trip there already felt like a vacation. I booked a stay at “Hyoe Koyokaku” to soak in the golden and silver hot springs. The water was incredibly smooth, and soaking slowly while enjoying the beautiful scenery was super relaxing. Then I tried their Japanese-style cuisine; the Kobe beef was really tender and sweet!
☕ Afternoon|The Ritz-Carlton Osaka English Afternoon Tea
I originally just wanted to find a place to sit, but then I saw the afternoon tea at The Ritz-Carlton and gave it a try—it was a total unexpected delight. The three-tiered tray of savory and sweet treats was all very exquisite, especially the crispy baked English scones, which were amazing.
🛫 Last Shopping Before Departure|Kansai Airport Duty-Free
There was still time before heading to the airport, so I grabbed a few boxes of Shiroi Koibito and Royce Nama Chocolate at the duty-free shop. In the end, I couldn’t resist buying a few Japanese skincare products to bring home—a perfect ending!
This trip to Osaka was very comfortable, with a completely unhurried itinerary. Shopping, hot springs, and food all satisfied at once. I truly feel Osaka is a place where you can relax and enjoy without getting too tired!
