Shirakawa-go in Gifu Prefecture, a World Heritage Site☺️

I went there because I wanted to go there in the winter.

The snow scenery was spectacular and amazing.

There was a lot of snow, so the footing was quite bad in many places.

If you are not used to snowy roads, I recommend that you bring winter gear such as snow boots, gloves, and knitted caps👌

This time, there was a lot of snow, so there was a lot of traffic jams😓

Because the tour time was set,

we were not able to go to the observation deck overlooking Shirakawa-go,

but the observation deck seems to be a good photo spot as well.

It's about a 30-minute walk from the parking lot, and there are usually buses running, so if you have time, I highly recommend it😊

In the Shirakawa-go area, there are inns, hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops, so if you have time, you can take a leisurely stroll and visit some great photo spots☺️
