The atmosphere is lively, filled with both Japanese and foreign tourists. The weather is quite hot these days. You can dress casually like you are in Thailand. The rice fields are starting to be harvested, and there are fields of white soba flowers to see. If you have time, you should walk up to the village's viewpoint. The village is free to enter.
