1️⃣ Nagoya Aquarium
Nagoya Aquarium is the only aquarium in Japan with killer whales, beluga whales, and dolphins! 💙 🐋 It's also Japan's largest outdoor aquarium! They also offer a close-up dolphin show, and the Ferris wheel in the background is a delightful spectacle. 🐬🎡
2️⃣ Shirakawa-go, a fairytale village under heavy snow, 🏡❄️ A scenic view you'll want to visit in all seasons.
Hida Shirakawa-go is a registered World Heritage site located in the Hida Mountains of Takayama. This rural village, surrounded by mountains, is peaceful and free of shopping malls and shops. 🏞️
We visited in February, and it was snowing heavily, so Shirakawa-go was covered in a thick layer of snow. ☃️ Along the paths, you'll find many different snowmen, including a super cute giant Totoro snowman. ☃️ Winter is one of its most beautiful seasons, but the diverse scenery is worth visiting in every season. 🌳
🚌 The bus ride from Nagoya takes about 2.5 hours.
3️⃣ Nagoya Nabana-no-Sato
Japan's largest nighttime illumination! As detailed in previous posts, this large park boasts beautiful flower fields and LED light shows. 🌷
