If you want to see the beautiful snowy scenery of Japan, this is the place I would most recommend🫶

'Shirakawago', which was filled with snow and looked like a snowman village

In winter, you can freely visit from morning to 3pm

but at night, there is a light-up festival, so only those with tickets can enter! ❄️

You can visit the light-up festival
1️⃣with accommodation in the village
2️⃣with a tour bus that includes an observatory ticket

I visited in the morning with a rental car

and I was able to enter after paying 1,000 yen for parking🚗

There were also people living in the village
and there were many things to see such as accommodations, restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops😗💕

The best way is to stay in a Shirakawago accommodation, but it is difficult to find one during the festival period,
so I recommend finding accommodation in the nearby Takayama area!
