Shirakawa-go Village

Shirakawa-go Village is a famous UNESCO World Heritage site in Japan, located in Gifu and Toyama Prefectures. It is renowned for its unique "Gassho-zukuri" architecture, featuring steeply sloped roofs resembling hands pressed together in prayer, designed to withstand heavy snowfall during winter.
