Shirakawa-go Village is a famous UNESCO World Heritage site in Japan, located in Gifu and Toyama Prefectures. It is renowned for its unique "Gassho-zukuri" architecture, featuring steeply sloped roofs resembling hands pressed together in prayer, designed to withstand heavy snowfall during winter. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this village is truly picturesque. Shirakawa-go is situated in the mountains of Gifu and Toyama Prefectures, in the central region of Honshu Island.

To visit Shirakawa-go, you can travel from Nagoya by train to Takayama City, and then take a Takayama Nohi Bus for approximately 50 minutes to reach the village.
