Shirakawa-go Gassho Village is actually a very large town with many must-see attractions. When you first arrive, you may be a little confused about where to go.
Here is a tour guide for your reference.

Transportation
It is most recommended to take the Nohi Bus to arrive~because it is cheap and can be used with the Shoryu Bus Pass. However, the bus to Shirakawa-go Gassho Village needs to be reserved in advance (only a few buses have free seats). It is recommended to go to the bus station to reserve a round-trip ticket after deciding the time.

It is recommended that you arrange to arrive at Gassho Village around 9 o'clock!
Because most shops don’t open until 10 o’clock, and the castle tower observatory doesn’t open until 9 o’clock, it’s not very convenient to arrive too early.
Group tourists will arrive around noon, and there will be more people in the afternoon.

Tour route:
Castle tower observatory - Kanda family - Gassho-zukuri folk house - Sanko-no-Sato - Shirakawa Hachimangu - Myozenji - Shirakawago Pudding House - Shirakawago-no-Yu

After getting off the bus, go to the castle tower observatory first, where you can overlook the entire village.

It is also the most photo-taking spot on the Internet.

There is a small shuttle bus or you can walk up to the observatory for about 15 minutes.

Kanda family/Wada family/Nagase family
All require tickets, I think you can choose one.
It mainly displays the old living space and displays various daily necessities and silkworm pupae, and you can also see the internal structure of the Gassho-zukuri.

In addition, the view from the upstairs is very beautiful, and it looks super cute.
Wada family is a little higher than Kanda family, but the angle of view is different, you can choose it yourself.

Walk towards Sanko-no-Sato and you will see the super beautiful snow-capped mountains at the end of the road. Don’t miss it!

There is a Shirakawa-go hot spring in front of the bus stop, which is a day trip hot spring~~
There are a total of four hot springs to soak in, which is perfect for a rest and relaxation after a walk before continuing the next trip
