The vast white Shirakawa-go

Shirakawa-go was the most anticipated stop on this trip to Japan. In mid-January, the temperature in Japan hovered between 5-12 degrees. Before visiting Shirakawa-go, I was still worried about whether I could see the snow scene and whether it would snow❄️

On the way from Kanazawa to Shirakawa-go by bus, the bus went from the Shi district to the mountains. After passing through the tunnel, I saw the famous Gassho Village in Shirakawa-go. Thick snow was spread on the roofs. Looking at such a beautiful scenery, it was really exciting.

The next morning, it finally snowed! It was the first time I saw snow. I often hear people say that you don’t feel cold when it snows, and it turns out to be true. Even if you don’t hold an umbrella, or even make the signature angel pose on the snow, you won’t feel cold.

Looking at the snowflakes falling in my hands, I feel indescribable touch!

I must come again if I have the chance.
