🌸 Tohoku Japan 2025 🌸

🌸 Tohoku Japan 2025 🌸

Our cherry blossom viewing trip for the 2 of us lasted 13 days and we chose to travel to the lower Tohoku region, the countryside of Japan. We decided to travel to this area before reading an article that was widely shared that the Japanese countryside was dying. And it was true, as some of the article said, that there would be fewer tourists in this area.

The last place the 2 of us encountered a lot of tourists was Zao Fox Village. When we entered Sendai, the first place we went to see cherry blossoms, we only met Japanese people. Back to the cherry blossoms 🌸 Oh my… At first, I was disheartened. Why were they still in bud and dry? But wow! In less than 2 days, they were in full bloom so quickly that I was confused about how they could bloom so much in one day?! And of course, during the time we were traveling, the weather was very unstable. Sometimes it was sunny, sometimes it rained, sometimes it was windy. The cherry blossoms would fall very quickly. There was one place where we went twice in 2 days. You could clearly see that the 2nd time, each bunch of flowers was not dense anymore. Some of them had already turned into green leaves and appeared. Because of the wind and rain, and everything happened so fast. But it was so beautiful that I walked around and took pictures and forgot about the time.

I would like to recommend you to visit this region of Japan. Especially during the cherry blossom season, it is very beautiful and natural. There are over 100 cherry trees everywhere we went to see cherry blossoms. Plus, the view of the snowy mountains contrasting with the cherry blossoms is the best for me. I have to tell you a little bit that I personally like nature, so I like to see cherry blossoms in a natural way, which is cherry blossoms with mountains and rivers, more than cherry blossoms with castles. This area is especially beautiful for me because it is mainly nature. Wow... beautiful cherry blossoms, natural views worth millions, plus there is a handsome husband. Oh! It's the best! 🥰

As for the cost of living, this area is very expensive. The price of accommodation is shockingly different from Tokyo. I booked one night and the lowest price I got was 1,300 baht per night (2 people). As for food, it was even worse. I think it was even cheaper than some of the meals I had in Thailand. So this trip was very full. I really ate everything. This time, I ate raw fish until I had to beg for my life and I ate very delicious meat. The restaurant was full of Japanese people. I will recommend more. Because it is a restaurant with many branches in many cities, if anyone is convenient, you can go and eat at any place.

As you know, the disadvantage of this area is that it is quite difficult to travel. Therefore, renting a car to travel around is probably the best option for traveling around this area. And especially when coming to see the cherry blossoms, the plan will change almost all the time because Nol's Full Bloom is not exactly as forecasted. When we drive ourselves, we are really flexible in switching to different places.

Don't worry about the language, it's all sign language + gg translate 🤣 because Japanese people in the provinces don't speak much English. But don't worry because everyone tries their best to help us. Let's go, let's travel together ❤️ #aprilbloom #Roadtripinjapan #travel #couplestrip #naturalwonders #japancherryblossoms
