Fazhuang Temple is located next to Nanchan Temple in Nanshan Park, Xining City, Qinghai Province. It is the largest Han Buddhist nunnery in Qinghai Province.

Fazhuang Temple was first built in 1943 and was originally located in Yuanshuzhuang, Chengxi District, Xining City. In 2003, to make way for the construction of the Xita Expressway (Xining-Ta'er Temple), the temple was relocated from Yuanshuzhuang to this location, which was previously the site of the "Nanshan Wenyuan".
