Yongning Ancient Town - Quanzhou

This ancient town was built in the Ming Dynasty and has been a major coastal town in southeast China ever since. Located in the middle of the Taiwan Strait, its strategic position has always been important.

Due to its long history of coastal defense, the town has a strong military culture. Soldiers from other places have been stationed here for generations, and many have settled down and started families, creating a rich clan culture with many ancestral temples.

Unfortunately, many people have moved to the city, and young people are reluctant to live here, leaving many ancestral homes vacant, some of which have collapsed.

The town is relatively remote, and although it is a well-preserved ancient town, there are still not many tourists.

Things will get better, and the town will stand the test of time!
