Bang Oi Chang Temple (Nonthaburi Province)

Wat Bang Oi Chang
It is assumed that the temple was built since the Sukhothai period or earlier.
Originally, the village was located where sugarcane was grown to feed elephants and sugarcane was also sent to feed royal elephants in Ayutthaya. Therefore, the village was called Ban Suai Oi. Later, when Wat Bang Oi Chang was built, the name was changed to Ban Wat Bang Oi Chang.

Inside the temple, there is also the Wat Bang Oi Chang Museum, which collects important antiques and items in the community.

You can visit the museum and pay homage to the sacred objects in the temple conveniently. It is close to Bangkok and can be easily traveled to.
The temple is located in Tambon Bang Si Thong, Amphoe Bang Kruai, Nonthaburi Province.
