Chibi Maruko-chan Land

#IndoorDate

Tokyo's "Cherry Maruko-chan Park" (also known as the "Maruko-chan Museum" in Roppongi Hills) is a must-visit for anime fans! The exhibition design is incredibly ingenious, recreating classic scenes from the anime, including Maruko-chan's house, classroom, and the Cherry House dining table. Interactive activities like hand-drawn animation and voice acting classes are also available, allowing both children and adults to reminisce about their childhood. Limited-edition merchandise and a themed cafe are particularly recommended, where you can savor dishes like Maruko-chan's tonkatsu donburi (pork cutlet rice bowl) and mom's curry. Exhibits are regularly updated, so be sure to check the official website for special exhibitions before you go. Access is also convenient: take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line to Roppongi Station, and the Roppongi Hills Mori Building is a five-minute walk away. Avoid weekends and holidays; weekday mornings offer less crowds, allowing for more time to take photos and enjoy the park. Tickets can be purchased on-site, but pre-booking on the official website will reduce waiting times. The entire tour takes about 1.5 hours, making it a great addition to your itinerary around Roppongi. You can also visit the Mori Art Museum and Tokyo City View. If you're an anime fan, this pure, childlike experience is a must-see!
