Recommended Point: If you visit at low tide, a road emerges from the sea, creating a mystical sight known as the "Angel's Walk." When I visited, it was barely connected, but the sea itself is beautiful and soothing. Check the Shodoshima Ferry Co., Ltd. website for low tide times!

Recommended Points: Shodoshima's #1 recommended spot. Located on a hill with a great view, it offers a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea. This windmill, famous for allowing you to become Kiki from Kiki's Delivery Service, is a popular photo spot and they even rent brooms. There's also a roadside station where you can buy souvenirs.
