Discovering Shuhe Ancient Town

A while ago, I visited Shuhe Ancient Town, situated in the northern part of Lijiang's Old City in Yunnan Province. As one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi people, it offers free entry and no reservation is needed.

The Big Stone Bridge at the entrance of Shuhe Ancient Town stood as a testament to the town's history. Walking along the Tea Horse Road, once a vital trade route, revealed a bustling commercial area with unique products and delicious foods. Aladdin Palace, a mysterious palace, provided an opportunity to explore Tibetan culture and religious beliefs.

With the town's high altitude and strong UV rays, wearing sunscreen was essential. Bargaining for souvenirs and respecting local customs added to the experience. Shuhe Ancient Town's historical significance and cultural beauty made it a captivating destination. I highly recommend exploring its unique charm.
