Located in Erawan Waterfall National Park, Kanchanaburi Province, it is one of the most beautiful and famous waterfalls in Thailand. The waterfall has 7 levels in total, each level has its own unique beauty, allowing tourists to walk up to explore and fully enjoy the natural view. The first levels of the waterfall have a large pool where you can swim. The water is clear and cool, and there are often small fish swimming around, creating a refreshing atmosphere. It is perfect for relaxation and unwinding.
The 7th level of the waterfall is called "Phu Pha Erawan", which is a special level because it is shaped like a three-headed elephant, or "Erawan", as the name of the waterfall suggests. With its height and the beauty of the limestone flowing down in layers, it looks like a great and amazing piece of natural art. Walking up to the 7th level may take about 2-3 hours, depending on the strength of each person. There are rest stops along the way, suitable for those who love adventure and nature.
In 2024, the entrance fee to Erawan Waterfall for foreigners is 300 baht for adults and 200 baht for children. Thais pay only 60 baht for adults and 30 baht for children. Tourists can visit every day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In addition, the park also has accommodations and tent sites to accommodate tourists who want to stay overnight, making Erawan Waterfall a suitable place for a weekend trip.
