#chinatravel Went to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in Sichuan Province and I swear I’ve never said “aww” so many times in one day. The pandas are just doing their thing, eating bamboo, rolling around, napping in the weirdest positions, and it’s honestly the most relaxing and adorable experience ever.
I got there early and that’s the move because the pandas are more active in the morning. Saw baby pandas climbing stuff, one fell over trying to get food and it was the funniest thing. The whole place is super green and peaceful too, with shady paths and quiet corners if you wanna chill for a bit.
There’s also a red panda area which is lowkey just as cute. The museum and info boards are pretty interesting if you wanna learn more, but honestly it’s all about just watching the fluffballs do their thing.
If you’re anywhere near Chengdu, this is a must. Bring water, a camera, and your inner child.
