Chengdu Panda Base

🚌 Transport:

You can easily reach the Panda Base by taking Metro Line 3 🚇. When you exit, you’ll find Panda Base employees 🧑💼 who will sell you a ticket for the shuttle bus to the base for just 2¥ per person. It's a quick and convenient ride.

🐼 Visit:

It’s true what they say – go in the morning! 🌅 If you arrive when the park opens, you’ll catch the giant pandas and red pandas being fed 🥢, which means they’re more active and playful. Later in the day, they tend to get lazy 😴 and just nap.

There are plenty of spots where you can see pandas 🐼, but if you encounter a long queue, it's best to move on to another area and then come back later. We entered from the South Gate, and it wasn’t too crowded there, so it’s a good alternative. The West Gate is the main entrance and tends to be more crowded, especially in the morning.

Entrance Fee: 55¥ per person 💸

We booked a morning ticket 🎟️ and stayed until 12 PM, thinking that was the limit, but it turns out you can probably stay until closing time if you'd like to explore more!

💡 Tips:

Summer: Bring an umbrella ☂️ to shield yourself from the sun 🌞.

Mosquito repellent 🦟 is a must, especially if you’re visiting during the warmer months.

Water 💧 is essential, as the prices inside the park can be higher.
