Phnom Bakheng

#cambodiatrip
Address: Angkor Archaeological Park, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia 🇰🇭.
Phnom Bakheng is a Hindu temple in the form of a temple mountain in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. It was built at the end of the 9th century, during the reign of King Yasovarman. Dedicated to Shiva, which was once the main temple in the Angkor region. It was the central architectural feature of a new capital called Yasodharapura, established by Yasovarman when he moved the court from the old capital, Hariharalaya, in the southeast Roluos area. Overall, it is a beautiful place with a very impressive view. you must see it with your own eyes and be amazing at the construction and the ancient site. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
