In the past, during the mid autumn festival, my parents will buy mooncake from a confectionery bakery shop. They prefer the traditional taste of mooncakes that are freshly baked white lotus skin baked mooncakes. We will usually have one month of mooncake meal towards the end of the mid autumn season. I remember the times where we gathered around with our neighbours to walk around the park with our newly purchased lantern. As a child, it was a very fun and exciting thing to do.
