This building used to be the Police Headquarters (The Old Hill Street Police Station) and in this area was also the first prison of Singapore. The highlight is the rainbow-colored windows. The 6-storey building has many windows of the same size and shape on every floor. Has anyone ever counted how many? 555+
Nowadays, this building has been transformed into the offices of the Ministry of Communications and Information and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth. The building is soooooo cute. Plus, after learning more about its history, I still can't imagine how it became a rainbow-colored building.
Open for taking pictures 24 hours a day. Free admission because we were outside. There are 3 corners: the left wing, the front wing and the right wing. Each one is beautiful in its own way. Be careful of the cars. 😁😁
