Overall nice lunch at Charcoal-Grill & Salad Bar Keisuke, with free flow salad, side dishes & fruits/coffee jelly. One of the 2 Keisuke outlets with the salad bar; the other being Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei at Tanjong Pagar.

As per the shop name, the menu mainly serve Charcoal-grilled traditional fish dishes + chicken. We ordered a charcoal-grilled mackerel & salmon, & the chef will start to cook once ordered. Meanwhile, they will serve some salad, onsen egg & some Japanese side dishes where you can eat while waiting for the main dishes. You are also able to customize your order of salad if you want more.

I love the way they serve the rice in a small iron pot of which it keeps the rice hot & fluffy. They served the fish with small sides of potato, radish & cheese too, & also come with miso soup as well. Both the fish dishes are of nice reasonable sizes.

Lastly, after finishing all the main & sides, it's time for fruits (watermelon & orange) & coffee jelly. Free flow as well too. Very full after finishing the meal ☺️

The restaurant is also very popular as we saw a constant queue of customers outside throughout our visit. Do come earlier if you visit.
