Fish Charred to Pefection

At Charcoal Grill & Salad Bar Keisuke, with every main course ordered, you’ll have access to a glorious free flow salad bar. The options are varied with many raw vegetables, cooked vegetables, pickles, noodles, fruits and even dessert.

My usual order is the grilled dried atka mackerel and the standard has been consistent every single time I’m there. The fish is crispy on the outside, soft and moist in the inside. The fish bones get so well charred that I could even eat them. The set comes with individually cooked rice in metal pots, miso soup and an onsen egg. Tip: mix the onsen egg together with the rice. It’s so delicious when done that way. The highlight of the meal is always the salad bar as they have my favourite mentaiko pasta and coffee jelly with cream. I could easily eat bowls of that stuff.

Bonus part? The mains here are affordable and you really get the best value for money dining here.
