Thian Hock Keng Temple is the oldest Chinese temple in Singapore and another famous temple in Chinatown, famous for its beauty. It is a temple devoted to beautiful details using materials and pieces from various countries and is also a wooden temple built without using a single nail. It is currently registered as a national monument and is managed by the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan Association.
Most people come to this temple to worship the Goddess of Mercy, emphasising the request for peace, love, smoothness, and sustainability in married life and requesting children.
