The final stop of our Nordic tour is Denmark! 🇩🇰
Day 2 in Copenhagen started with a visit to "Andersen Bakery" 🥐
Denmark is the birthplace of Danish pastries! The buttery dough paired perfectly with the fruit toppings ❤️
Next, we walked to "Christiania" 🚶
This free town, established in the 1970s, is unique with its street art covering the walls and its distinctive atmosphere! 🎨 While it's become more accessible to tourists, remember to respect the no-photo zones!
During your city stroll, make sure to stop by a hot dog stand near the central station 🌭
Denmark is also said to be the birthplace of hot dogs, and the local way to enjoy them is with plenty of pickles and fried onions. For a coffee break, head to "Espresso House" ☕️ A chain spread across the Nordic region, it offers convenience without compromising on taste 🥹
To wrap up the trip, we paid a visit to "The Little Mermaid" statue! 🧜
Known as a symbol of Andersen's fairy tales, it's also humorously referred to as one of the world's top three most underwhelming attractions. But standing before it, you can't help but snap a commemorative photo 📸
Design, cuisine, history, and the setting of beloved stories... Denmark is packed with charm 🇩🇰✨
It was the perfect place to conclude our Nordic adventure. Be sure to add it to your travel list!
