Traveling to Singapore for 2 days and 1 night on my first solo trip

Hello! Personally, I'm not good at languages at all, but I'm a bit of a glam person who refuses to buy tours and wants to travel on my own terms. From many reviews, Singapore is one of the best countries to visit for people like me who aren't good at languages.

Getting around here is very convenient. There is excellent public transportation that covers the entire city, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost—just open Google Maps or walk, which is also convenient but a bit tiring 🤣

We went for 2 days and 1 night because time was very limited, but all the landmarks are close to each other or just a short bus or MRT ride away.

As for food, the flavors here suit my taste, though they’re not as spicy as back home. Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice is super delicious, with juicy chicken. Bak Kut Teh is also amazing. I personally followed famous award-winning restaurants and was not disappointed.

Regarding the cost of living, as everyone knows, it’s quite expensive, but compared to the price of plane tickets, I think it’s not much different from other countries with cheaper tickets. Other countries may have cheap tickets and food but tend to have more expensive transportation. For anyone deciding to travel abroad on their own, I hope Singapore will be one of your options. It’s clean, safe, modern, and the people are super friendly. They are especially nice when they know you’re Thai.

P.S. Throughout the trip, I used the Utrip card for everything—MRT, bus, and food payments. It was very convenient!
