Stay at the 138-year-old legendary hotel and experience the old Nanyang dream

#SingaporeItinerary

Who understands, family! This time in Singapore, I fully experienced the pinnacle of luxury hotels in Nanyang—the Raffles Hotel. It opened in 1887 and, after the test of time, is full of stories everywhere.

🏛️【Hotel Decor】
Stepping into the hotel, the white exterior walls paired with louvered shutters and surrounded by tropical greenery are full of Victorian colonial style. The lobby’s high ceiling, vintage chandeliers, and black-and-white marble floors instantly transported me back in time. In the room, the 14-foot high ceiling is stunning, with teakwood floors covered by handwoven oriental rugs, matched with vintage furniture. Even the bathroom faucets are exquisite brass, with every detail perfected! Plus, you can control the entire room with an iPad—such a wonderful blend of technology and classic style.

🍽️【Hotel Restaurants】
Long Bar is a must-visit! It’s the birthplace of the Singapore Sling. Sitting here, sipping the classic Singapore Sling cocktail paired with signature salted peanuts, and you can even throw the peanut shells on the floor—super atmospheric. The waiters wear white linen uniforms, providing attentive and meticulous service. Every sip of the drink seems to carry the hotel’s century-old charm.

🍜Tiffin Room is also not to be missed. It offers authentic Indian cuisine with decor full of exotic flair. From curries to grilled meats, every dish’s spice blend is just right. The crystal chandeliers, carved screens, and live Indian music performances in the restaurant make the dining experience truly immersive.

🗺️【Itinerary】
Day 1: Check in in the afternoon, first take photos and check in at the hotel lobby to feel the classical atmosphere. After a short rest, head to Long Bar, order a Singapore Sling and snacks, and enjoy a leisurely time. Dine at the hotel restaurant in the evening, then take a stroll in the hotel garden to aid digestion.

Day 2: Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel in the morning, then relax with a spa treatment at the hotel’s spa center. Have Indian cuisine at Tiffin Room for lunch. In the afternoon, join the hotel’s cultural tour to learn about its history. In the evening, browse the hotel’s boutique for souvenirs.

Day 3: After breakfast, pack and check out. If time allows, have a coffee at the hotel café to savor this unforgettable stay.

In short, Raffles Hotel is truly an unforgettable accommodation experience, highly recommended for those wanting to feel the Nanyang charm in Singapore! #RafflesHotelSingapore #NanyangStyle #HotelExperience
