Cracking Into Flavour – A Feast at JUMBO Seafood Restaurant

No visit to Singapore’s culinary scene is complete without digging into a plate of chilli crab, and my recent visit to JUMBO Seafood Restaurant was nothing short of epic. Known for its iconic seafood dishes, JUMBO served up a feast that was messy, indulgent, and absolutely unforgettable.

The highlight? Chilli crab—sweet, spicy, and rich with deep umami. The sauce was thick, tangy, and perfect for mopping up with their pillowy fried buns (a must-order sidekick). Equally impressive was the salted egg crab—coated in a creamy, golden sauce that struck the perfect balance between savory and sweet.

The fried scallops were a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired with a flavorful mayo dip. For some land-based luxury, the stir-fried beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a bold garlic-soy glaze that rounded out the seafood spread beautifully.
