Unexpected Chinatown

One would not expect to find a Chinatown in Singapore, yet there is one, which highlights the multiculturalism that exists in the city and country.
Although it is no longer where most Chinese live, it still has many cultural elements and serves some very good Chinese food. You'll also find shops that sell trinkets and other Chinese goods. Wander around its streets and discover the history of some of the first Chinese to have settled in Singapore.
