Xining Cultural Park, located on Haiyan Road in Chengxi District, covers 230 mu (approximately 1,000 acres). The park features a modern European-style layout that blends formal and natural elements. The park is clean and tidy, filled with vibrant flowers and lush greenery.
Cultural parks are parks dedicated to promoting culture. They emphasize the humanistic environment and the accumulation of human culture, with a focus on expressing humanity. The entrance is marked by two rows of European-style columns. To the right are carved stone poems, bronze statues, and calligraphy, imbued with the local cultural atmosphere of Qinghai.
Xining Cultural Park also features a pavilion and corridor for visitors to relax. The park is planted with local flowers, plants, and trees, creating a fragrant and beautiful scene. Behind it, a stone wall relief depicts historical stories, such as the story of a cadre marrying Princess Wencheng.
The plateau has a continental climate with abundant sunshine, long cold winters and cool summers. Summer is the best time to travel.
Xining Cultural Park is divided into six major areas: the Cultural Square, the Jiangheyuan Cultural and Customs Area, the Children's Playground, the Flower Production and Exhibition Area, and the Park Management Area. The Music Square is the park's main attraction, featuring cascading water and water butterflies as the prelude, a colorful musical fountain as the main attraction, and a musical performance as the finale. Flanking the fountain are six groups of twelve relief walls depicting Qinghai's history and culture and the Jiangheyuan scenery. A bronze statue of Wang Luobin, the King of Western Songs, recreates the theme song "In That Faraway Place." Around the music stage stand eight white marble columns depicting the Eight Wonders of the World. The park's Jiangheyuan Water Stream, children's playground, and flower exhibition and sales center are all unique and distinctive attractions.
It is recommended to play for about 2 hours.
