Elbows & Uppercuts in Heritage Joo Chiat!

Wander through the charming shophouses and Peranakan flair of Joo Chiat, and you might not expect to find a serious training ground tucked inside this heritage enclave. But step in further, and there it is, a spacious, big martial arts gym pulsing with energy and discipline.

What attracted me was the huge big boxing ring within the color and historic streets of Joo Chiat. Inside the gym have mats, heavy bags, and fighters sharpening their skills in disciplines like Muay Thai and Boxing. It’s a beautiful blend of tradition and toughness, where old-world architecture meets the grind of the modern warrior.

Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned fighter, training here adds a cultural twist to your sweat session; proof that even in the most nostalgic corners of Singapore, there’s space for strength and grit.
