1-Day Joo Chiat Itinerary for Solo Traveler🚶‍♀️🚶🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Most people who travel to Singapore miss this beautiful area. Most of them either never heard about this place before, or they felt the distance is quite far from the city center. Well, I must admit that the distance is quite far. But believe me, the work hard will be paid off right after you arrive here!

For those who want to go here, if you have more budget, you can just take Grabcar and you will arrive around 20 minutes. As for me, I used MRT to Marine Parade and continued the journey by walking to the Joo Chiat Rd. I spent around 40 minutes for the whole process. You can also go by bus too.

You can find lots of thing in Joo Chiat Rd. This area still has strong Peranakan vibes. You can see the famous and vibrang Peranakan Houses. Believe me, don't forget to take photo here! If you are hungry, lots of cafes and restaurants that you can try here! For vegetarian, don't worry, you can go eat at Joo Chiat Banh Mi Ca Phe or having dessert in another cafes here. Before leaving the area, don't forget to buynsome souvenirs at Cat Socrates! This is a store full of cute things and Peranakan souvenirs related.

Overall, this place is really good for those who want to admire culture and take good photos. Every corner is a gem to be admired!
