The Tuen Mun River💦 is located in the Tuen Mun District in the northwest of the New Territories. According to the website of the "Jockey Club🐎Cherish Water and River Project💦" of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Hong Kong🎓, the Tuen Mun River💦 originates from the northwest of the top of Jiujing Mountain⛰️ east of Tuen Mun at an altitude of about 480 meters. The upstream of the main stream is Laohukeng⛰️, which first flows northwest into the canyon🏞️, then turns north to flow into Lam Tei Irrigation Reservoir🏞️; thereafter, the main stream turns west to the west of Lam Tei Quarry⛏️, flows into Siu Hong Court🏙️ through Tiger Trench Village🏘️, then turns southwest into Tuen Mun Valley🏞️, becoming the Tuen Mun River💦; the Tuen Mun River💦 then flows through Tuen Mun Hospital🏥, Tuen Mun San Hui🛍️, Tuen Mun Park🌳 and the Houjiao Tin Hau Temple in Tuen Mun Old Hui🏘️ in Tuen Mun New Town🏙️, and finally flows into Castle Peak Bay🌊 at Wu Shan Recreation Ground🏀. The former Tuen Mun River estuary 🌊 was located between the present Pui To Road 🛣️ and the Tin Hau Temple 🏠 in Hou Kok, while the river section 💦 south of the present Pui To Road 🛣️ is an artificial extension of the river 💦 formed by reclamation 🪨 from shallow sea 🌊.

The MTR Tuen Mun Station 🚉 and Siu Hong Station 🚉 are built on the Tuen Mun River 💦. Both have the Tuen Ma Line and the Light Rail (LRT), making it convenient for tourists 🧳 to travel along the Tuen Mun River 💦. It is the only river in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 with more than one railway station 🚉.

There are many pedestrian bridges 🌉, riverside gardens 🌷 and bicycle paths 🚴 on both sides of the Tuen Mun River 💦. Visitors can walk 🚶 and enjoy the scenery 🏞️, or ride a bicycle 🚴 (bicycle) for exercise 💪 while enjoying the beautiful riverside scenery 🏞️. Even if there is a thunderstorm ⛈️, the scenery is still a different world 🌦️.
