Review of a 5-day, 4-night trip to Singapore: cute and delightful 🥰
Hello everyone! Today I want to share my experience from my very first trip to Singapore, which I just took recently. I must say, I was extremely impressed—both the charming places, delicious food, and the super friendly locals.
If you’re planning a trip to Singapore, don’t miss this review.
Get ready to have fun, prepare your camera, and let’s go! 💖
Day 1: Arrival in Singapore — Jewel Changi and Haji Lane 🌈
After arriving at Changi Airport,
I almost screamed with excitement the moment I stepped off the plane because the airport is so beautiful! Jewel Changi is a paradise for photo lovers,
featuring the world’s tallest indoor waterfall (Rain Vortex), lush greenery,
and plenty of shops and restaurants. I took dozens of photos and completely lost track of time.
Then I checked into a hotel in the Bugis area, which is very convenient for getting around. After that, I went for a stroll in Haji Lane, full of cute cafes and clothing shops, with colorful graffiti walls. It felt like stepping into a fantasy world—perfect for photography enthusiasts.
Day 2: Sentosa Island and Universal Studios Singapore 🎢🎠
Early in the morning, we headed straight to Sentosa Island, a popular tourist spot in Singapore. We started by taking the Sentosa Express across the island
to Universal Studios Singapore! Wow, the excitement was full-on from the first step. The atmosphere felt just like being in a Disney theme park.
We made the most of the thrilling rides like Transformers 4D, Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, and the Far Far Away zone, which is Shrek’s world, plus the adorable Madagascar area. After walking around until tired, there were plenty of restaurants to recharge. What impressed me most was the cleanliness and excellent management, making it safe and fun.
That evening, we returned to Clarke Quay, a chic riverside area, to enjoy Singapore chicken rice and watch the river view at night. I must say, it was very romantic—perfect for relaxing after a fun-filled day.
Day 3: Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands 🌺🌃
Today we started with a visit to Gardens by the Bay, Singapore’s most famous botanical garden. We admired the Supertree Grove, giant trees with stunning light and sound shows at night. During the day, it was perfect for beautiful photos.
Next, we visited the Flower Dome, which houses plants from around the world under one dome. The atmosphere felt like a fairy tale and was very cool and comfortable. We enjoyed walking around so much that we lost track of time.
After that, we went to Marina Bay Sands to enjoy panoramic city views, took photos with the Merlion, Singapore’s symbol, and relaxed at the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark, enjoying a 360-degree night city view. I was so impressed I wanted to stay there longer.
Day 4: Chinatown, Little India, and Orchard Road 🛍️🍜
Today we explored Singapore’s cultural diversity.
We started at Chinatown, an old Chinese community full of local eateries and cute souvenirs. We tried hot dim sum that was so delicious I wanted to have it again.
Then we went to Little India, full of vibrant colors and beautiful Hindu temples. There, we bought some small souvenirs and tried Indian-style sweets that were irresistibly tasty.
In the afternoon, we shopped at Orchard Road, Singapore’s famous shopping street, with many top brands to choose from. We stopped for ice cream and leisurely walked around until we almost lost track of time.
Day 5: Kampong Glam and Bugis Street Market 🛵🎨
Before leaving, we chose to stroll around Kampong Glam, filled with street art and cute cafes. We took photos with the beautiful Sultan Mosque. The atmosphere here perfectly blends old and modern vibes.
We then headed to Bugis Street Market to shop for last-minute souvenirs before going back to the airport.
Summary of impressions 💕
Singapore is a city that’s easy to get around, clean, safe, and full of beautiful places perfect for photography. The food is delicious and diverse, and the people are very friendly. For those who love a mixed travel experience—theme parks, nature, culture, and shopping—Singapore has it all.
For me, this trip was a wonderful experience that I will always cherish.
I hope this review helps friends planning a trip to Singapore get ideas and get excited to follow in my footsteps! 💕
