Being the Largest mall in Singapore, there are more than 1 reason for tourists to pass by VivoCity or be near it without knowing!

The most common reason is to enter Sentosa, the popular island away from the main island. From VivoCity, tourists can either walk into Sentosa free, or take the monorail within the mall to escape the heat from the tropical island.

Next, would be to take a cruise ship from Singapore Cruise Center, located beside the mall.

Third, which would be more common for locals, is to travel to Batam/Bintan, the nearby islands of Indonesia. The ferry terminal located beside VivoCity offers constant ferry rides to Indonesia throughout the day. Each journey lasts approx 1 hour!

Finally, tourists may pass by while riding the cable car from Mount Faber into Sentosa. But there's actually a stop at the building next to VivoCity too!
