Singapore 3 days 2 nights

This Singapore trip was inspired by following and cheering for my favorite team playing pre-season matches in Singapore. The 3-day, 2-night journey thus began.

Singapore is a hot city, so during the day we focused on shopping malls, stopping by coffee shops, and visiting museums. At night, we enjoyed outdoor walks with plenty of colorful lights to see. There are many free attractions, highly recommend Garden by the Bay with its light and sound show at 7:40 PM—it's amazing.

Food here is a mix of Chinese, Indian, and Malay cuisines. Recommended dishes include bak kut teh, red roasted pork noodles, duck, crispy pork, and chicken rice. Singaporeans prefer eating at food centers or hawker centers, which gather street food all in one place. For drinking water, it’s better to buy from supermarkets or FairPrice, as prices are much better than convenience stores.

Hotels are generally a bit pricey compared to room size, depending on the travel period.

Summary of estimated expenses for 3 days 2 nights (per person):

- Airfare 6,8xx (Singapore Airlines), depending on promotions at the time
- Hotel 4,5xx (V Hotel Bencoolen), based on sharing a room for 2 people
- Transportation 5xx (MRT + Bus)
- Food 3,xxx (hawker + regular restaurants, depending on how much you eat and extra snacks or drinks)
- Others vary; some may prepare for shopping. For me, watching football added about 7,000 THB for the ticket.

Overall budget per person is 15,xxx - 20,xxx THB, and you’re good to go!
