- Old Town St. area, a lively old town from the early days of Singapore, features beautiful and distinctive buildings. Notably, 1. Central Fire Station, Singapore's original fire station building, constructed since 1908. Travel by MRT, get off at City Hall Station Exit B, and walk about 300 meters.
- The brightly colored building opposite is a landmark everyone talks about: 2. Old Hill Police Station, a building with over 900 louvered windows, located on Hill Street, Downtown Core.
- Head into downtown 100 meters from Old Hill Police Station to enjoy the view of the bridge and river: 3. Anderson Bridge, located in the heart of Singapore, crossing the Singapore River, built in 1912.
- Hong Lim Park is one of Singapore's first public parks, covering 0.94 hectares (2.3 acres) in the central city area. Take the MRT into the city, get off at Clarke Quay (NE5) Station, and walk a little further.
