My Stay at the Capitol Kempinski: A Hidden Gem for Coffee Lovers! ☕

#holidayitinerary
I recently stayed at the Capitol Kempinski Hotel in Singapore, and I can honestly say it's a must-visit. This stunning hotel, which used to be the historic Capitol Building and Stamford House, truly feels like a century-old colonial palace. I felt like a hotel connoisseur who had found the perfect mix of history and modern luxury.

Location and Convenience

The hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's right in the heart of Singapore, so I could look out my window and see the white dome of St. Andrew's Cathedral. From there, it was just a five-minute walk to the National Gallery and a ten-minute walk to Clarke Quay. The best part? The City Hall MRT station is a mere 30-second walk from the hotel entrance, which made exploring the city a breeze. It turned me from a hardcore walker into an elegant traveler.

My Room and the Cloud-Like Bedding

My room was a beautiful mix of colonial charm and modern design. It was incredibly spacious, and my room came with a private patio where I enjoyed my morning coffee. I have to talk about the bedding—the down comforter was so soft, it felt like I was sinking into a cloud. Even though I have trouble sleeping in new places, I was out instantly! The complimentary mini-bar drinks were also a fantastic bonus.

The Coffee Lover's Dream

As a coffee lover, the best surprise was finding Bacha Coffee in the room. This brand is known as the "Hermès of coffee" in Singapore, and the packaging was gorgeous. The rich aroma of the Arabica beans was amazing. I may have saved a few packets each day to take home with me—I just couldn't resist! Having a hot cup of coffee after a relaxing soak in the bathtub was a real highlight of my stay.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who loves history, luxury, and, of course, incredible coffee!
