2022 Birthday Staycation Part 2 of 4

Second part of my birthday hotel-hopping staycay… I purchased this hotel package as a far east hospitality member and it is inclusive of the following:
* breakfast
* turndown service (although I didn’t receive my turndown service gift but did receive a balm)
* wellness mini-bar items
* one-way limousine service
* 2-hour spa service
Member rate is already comparable to what’s offered in this app but I decided to book via the membership’s site so I can utilize my S$100 voucher.

I visited this hotel before but only stayed in a Deluxe Room. Since it’s my birthday, I splurged and stayed in their Junior Suite and for me, it was worth it! Although for the price, would’ve been better if afternoon tea or cocktails are provided - like other competitor hotels’ suite privileges. Despite this, I still enjoyed my stay. Kudos to Gar Wei in front desk who facilitated my check-in, lead me to my room and personally brought me my requested bath salt.

The room is spacious and clean. There were plenty of bottled water provided aside from the healthy mini-bar items. I also received a unique birthday cake - or rather, a dessert made with gelatin with fruits, shaped like a birthday cake 😊The hotel’s entertainment is great! Their TV supports chromecast and device pairing for streaming from your device.

The shower area is separate from the bathtub. The bathtub is big, however, I found it hard to “navigate” and get out of the bathtub 😂 Note that bath salts need to be requested by calling the front desk.

Turndown service involved replenishing toiletries and making up of the bed. I was given a balm during that time as well.

Set breakfast is served at Bedrock. It was ok. I had the Hearty Breakfast which I didn’t manage to finish. The serving is big and I find the Italian sausage chickpea stew a tad too salty for me.

Their spa didn’t disappoint. I got there earlier again to have time to use the sauna before my set massage appointment. Celeste did a good job kneading my stress away. After my 2-hr massage, she also gave me some wellness tips.

I rate this staycation experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟 out of five stars.
